To provide for: 1) the Ernest R. Britton Humanities Award (in support of the Dow Corning Corporation Winter Art Card Contest at Arts Midland: Galleries and School) 2) the Ernest R. Britton Humanities Award (in support of substitute teacher costs and a small supplies stipend, so a regular humanities teacher-from one of the following public school districts: Midland, Coleman, Bullock Creek, Meridian, and the Midland County Educational Service Agency-may be released as often as every other year to participate in Rotary International’s Group Study Exchange) 3) the Ernest and Martha Britton Memorial Scholarship. The availability of appropriate funds will determine the amount that can be afforded these opportunities in a particular year.
